Strengthening the federal structure is the nature of the Indian Union, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi said on Saturday, 8 October.

Gandhi, in Karnataka as part of his Bharat Jodo Yatra, was speaking to Anusha Ravi Sood, Political Editor of South First.

All states and traditions enjoy an equally important space in the country, he added.
