Kerala church protests Vizhinjam port in Kerala

The coastal people of Thiruvananthapuram are on a warpath. They are objecting to the under-construction Vizhinjam International Seaport. The locals claim that the port has caused large-scale coastal erosion. Over 600 families have lost their houses and fishing materials to the erosion and the local schools and warehouses have turned into relief camps.
