Kerala Governor acting as if above judiciary: Pinarayi Vijayan

Kerala CM Pinarayi Vijayan launched a scathing attack on Governor Arif Mohammed Khan over the recent issue of appointing Vice Chancellors and other policy matters.

He was speaking at an event to discuss improving higher education, in Thiruvananthapuram on Wednesday, 2 November.

The Chief Minister accused the Governor of indulging in politics and trying to run a parallel government in the state.

Vijayan said that his elected government is answerable to the people and he will not allow anyone to interfere in matters of the state legislature.
