Man disrupts Himanta Biswa Sarma’s meeting in Hyderabad, confronts him on stage

Man sporting pink scarf disrupts a meeting attended by Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma in Hyderabad on Friday, 9 September. The Assam chief minister was in the Telangana capital upon invitation from the Bhagyanagar Ganesh Utsav Samiti. He was standing on the podium when a man walked upto the speaker standing next to Sarma, snatched the mic and confronted Sarma. The unknown man objected to Sarma’s presence at the ‘Shobhayatra’, the Ganesh idol immersion event, held at Mozamjahi market in the city.
