Munugode moves: Two Backward Class BJP leaders jump ship, join TRS

Two key Backward Classes leaders joined the TRS ahead of the crucial Munugode bypoll.

Former Telangana Legislative Council Chairman, K Swami Goud and Dasoju Sravan were welcomed into the party fold by state minister KT Rama Rao.

Swami Goud, a Telangana movement leader had quit the TRS and joined BJP in 2020 while Sravan had quit the Congress recently.

Both leaders maintained that the BJP lacked any vision and failed to usher in constructive politics.
